Who Can See Forever is the first ever in depth look into the life and music of Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam. Initially conceived by Beam and director Josh Sliffe as a way to capture the Beast Epic / Weed Garden touring band, the film grew into a deeper study of Beam’s artistic process. Shot over the course of three years, the film centers around two nights at the historic Haw River Ballroom which captured the band working thru material from its twenty plus year career. In between, Sliffe digs into past, present, and future of Iron & Wine through a series of interviews and unguarded behind-the-scenes footage that welcomes the viewer into the center of Beam’s universe.
